Deaths in Custody

Robert John Clyde, 73, a prisoner at HMP Edinburgh has died.  He was convicted at Edinburgh High Court on 19^th February 2013. Police Scotland have been advised and the matter will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal. Next of kin have been informed and a fatal accident inquiry may be held in due course.

 Graeme McLaren, 51, a prisoner at HMP Shotts has died.  He was convicted at Glasgow High Court on 17^th December 2013. Police Scotland have been advised and the matter will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal. Next of kin have been informed and a fatal accident inquiry may be held in due course.

 John Hughes, 62, a prisoner at HMP Grampian has died.  He was convicted at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on 14^th March 2017. Police Scotland have been advised and the matter will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal. Next of kin have been informed and a fatal accident inquiry may be held in due course.
