SPS College Celebrates Staff Qualifications
On 19th February the SPS College held its annual ceremony to celebrate the successful completion by SPS staff of some of the college's formal development programmes. The qualifications that were recognised at this event were the leadership and management programmes, coaching and the SVQ in Learning and Development. The event was introduced by Head of Learning Kate Hudson who emphasised the importance of the continued development of our staff and recognising the effort required to complete these programmes. Individual certificates were then presented by the Chief Executive Colin McConnell. The event was attended by several Heads of Operations supporting the achievements of the staff in their establishments, and by Rick Bond the external verifier for the Institute of Leadership and Management in Scotland.
A number of staff received qualifications including Leadership and Management, SVQ Level 3 in Learning and Development and Workplace Coaching.
A huge congratulations to all SPS staff who have worked extremely hard to further their skills and knowledge by completing these qualifications.
