An update on work being undertaken to support the safety and wellbeing of young people in our care, following the Fatal Accident Inquiry (FAI) determinations into the deaths of William Lindsay (Brown), Katie Allan and Jack McKenzie.
The purpose of this document is to provide guidance and direction for the implementation of The Bail and Release from Custody (Scotland) Act 2023, specifically Part 2 section 11: Power to Release Early (Emergency Release).
