The Poverty Truth Commission have launched their new report for 2014-16, #namesnotnumbers. Published by Faith in the Community Scotland, the report outlines the work of the PTC and the key issues they have made recommendations for.

The PTC have made a number of recommendations for tackling Food Poverty, highlighting the need for sustainable answers to food poverty and a food justice movement led by people with direct experience of poverty. The hidden cost of school – PE kits, uniform, school bags and shoes – is also highlighted in the report, and the PTC have made recommendations to the Scottish Government to recognise and tackle the sometimes hidden costs of schooling. Experiences of job centre and other public service agencies are also emphasised in the report.
