Death in Custody

John William Monteith, 24, a prisoner at HMP Perth died at Perth Royal Infirmary on 28/12/2015. He was convicted at Dundee Sheriff Court on 18 June 2015. Police Scotland have been advised and the matter will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal. Next of kin have been informed and a fatal accident inquiry may be held in due course.
