The Scottish Government are leading on the implementation of an information sharing system between the criminal justice agencies. This will enable us to make informed decisions and provide the best possible support for those in their care.

The development and implementation process will scope current practice around information sharing across justice partners as a young person moves from court into custody, and identify ways in which information can be more effectively shared.

We agree that all available information should be provided by criminal justice partners who are part of the journey of custody at the time that a young person being remanded or sentenced to SPS custody, and we will be actively contributing to the Scottish Government's working group.
