Low Moss Celebrate Volunteers Week
To recognise Volunteer Week, Low Moss invited the resident local volunteer group into the prison for a coffee morning which included a presentation of an ‘Appreciation Certificate’ to recognise their contribution in our partnership working with local community groups.
Twelve of the Volunteer Group attended the event which incorporated a thank-you presentation of certificates from Deputy Governor, Sharanne Findlay, alongside East Dunbartonshire Volunteer Association Chairperson, Margaret Ann Elder. Also recognised at the event were two of our own prisoner peer support volunteers.
Volunteers who come into Low Moss are recognised in their work within areas such as Children’s entertainment, Volunteer Visitors, Family and Friends Centre attendance and Community links.
