Chief Executive's Certificate of Meritorious Contribution
Last week, Operations Officer Ross received a Certificate of Meritorious Contribution from our Chief Executive, Teresa Medhurst at HMP Castle Huntly.
Ross was the first on the scene at a car accident when he was cycling to work one day. He performed emergency care, which incidentally he had only recently attended a course on at work. Ross waited with the individual until paramedics arrived and kept in constant touch with them throughout the incident. It is in no doubt that Ross helped to save this person’s life.
We would like to congratulate Ross on receiving this award. Ross is a valued member of staff at HMP Castle Huntly and his actions are a fantastic example of the care and compassion shown by our staff every day.
