Deaths in Custody

Andrew Hutcheson, 53, a prisoner from HMP Castle Huntly has died. He was convicted at Dundee Sheriff Court in 2017. Police Scotland have been advised and the matter reported to the Procurator Fiscal. A Fatal Accident Inquiry will be held in due course.

Paul Hogwood, 60, a prisoner from HMP Perth has died. He was convicted at Glasgow High Court in 2016. Police Scotland have been advised and the matter reported to the Procurator Fiscal. A Fatal Accident Inquiry will be held in due course.
