Perth Prison - How to get there

By Car from Glasgow
Follow the signs for Stirling, then pick up the A9 to Perth until you reach Broxden Roundabout, take the second turning on the left, carry down the Glasgow Road for approximately 2 miles until you reach the 'Riggs Road' roundabout. Take the third exit onto Glover Street, passing the Leisure Pool. Follow along this road for approximately 2 miles, until you reach a set of traffic lights with Tesco directly across the road. Turn left onto Edinburgh Road. The prison is approximately 0.5 miles up the road on the right.

By Car from Edinburgh
Follow the M90 until junction 10, turn off slip road and follow Edinburgh Road down the hill, passed a large Tesco store. Go straight ahead through the traffic lights and the prison is on your right hand is approximately 50 yards along the road.

By TrainThe prison is a 10 minute walk from the railway station or a taxi service is available. From the railway station turn right and go under the bridge, walk about 150 yards until you come to the South Inch (a large park area on the right of Marshall Place) You can cross the park diagonally until you come to Edinburgh Road and the prison entrance is directly across from the Shell petrol station. Alternatively follow the road down to the traffic lights, turn right and carry on up Edinburgh Road to reach the same destination.

By BusThe bus station is situated approximately 50 yards away on the opposite side of the road from the railway station. Turn left when leaving the bus station and walk along the road until you see the railway station then follow the above directions.
