Glenochil is sited near Tullibody in central Scotland and holds long-term adult male prisoners with High, Medium and Low supervision security classifications. Prisoners are not committed to HMP Glenochil direct from the courts but are admitted following conviction, from other prisons, principally Barlinnie and Edinburgh.
