How To Book Family/Friend Visit:

Contact 01387 261218 select x205 from the choice menu, or press 1. If you are not listed as a visitor, staff will contact the individual concerned to seek permission to add you and your friends on his list.

Visiting Guidelines:

Photographic identification of any sort and Official headed letter with name and address on it for prisoner's visitors. Official visitors require Identification cards. Agents are required to carry their Scottish Legal Law cards.

 

Parking Facilities:

Visitor's car park on the right as you leave Terregles Street. Official visitors can request a space near the establishment by contacting x 320.

 

Disabled Facilities:

There is a disabled parking space next to the main door to the establishment. Also have a portable ramp to assist disabled visitors from exiting their vehicles.

Monday to Friday

Local prisoners 1330-1430 hrs

Long term 1500-1600 hrs (Fridays only)

Saturday

Local prisoners 1130-1230 hrs

Long term 1415-1545 hrs

Sunday

Local prisoners 1030-1130 hrs

Handing In Property/Money:

Property must be accompanied by a pro-forma which is sent out by the prisoner. No property will be acceptable without a pro-forma Money will be accepted and a receipt given. Cheques will be accepted with the appropriate bank card, made out to the SPS.

 Complaints/Comment book available to all visitors at the Gate.
