- Make sure you use the correct service when sending money, jewellery or valuable items. If you send money, jewellery or valuables using any other Royal Mail service except Special Delivery you will not be able to claim any compensation in the event of loss or damage.
You can access the same information by clicking the following link:
Royal Mail - Sending valuables and cash
All letters posted to friend / family member will be opened by staff in front of them. Should money be inside then there will be a receipt written and issued to your friend / family member. The money would then be put to their private cash account.
All property posted in to your friend / family member should have included inside the parcel the property pro-forma that they will have posted out to yourself. Without this form the property will not be handed out and instead stored safely pending liberation.
Complaints/Comments:
In the first instance if any complaint arises during your visit to the establishment raise this complaint with a member of staff, who will be happy to help resolve the complaint where possible.
If this is not possible complaints can also be posted in to the establishment using the above address, where the nature of the complaint will be fully investigated and you will be informed of any outcomes.
