Polmont Interventions Team
Our aim is to allow Young Offenders the opportunity to address their offending behaviour by attending a range of prisoner programmes on offer to them during their stay at Polmont YOI.
Our highly skilled and experienced staff are committed to helping them look at the reasons why they offend and explore how they can address these issues and prepare for release.
We offer a caring and supportive environment and continually try to adapt our programmes to meet the complex needs of the young people we work with.
We do not judge the people we work with, we support them and encourage them to believe that they can return to their communities as responsible and valued members of society.
Whilst working closely with these young men we never lose sight of the fact that their crimes have impacted on a wide range of people and therefore encourage them to look at the consequences of their actions and in particular the impact on victims of crime.
If you think you can help us to achieve our goal of trying to make our communities safer then please let us know.
