Substance Related Offending Behaviour Programme
The substance related offending behaviour programme (SROBP) has been designed to address substance related offending behaviour in prisoners who are a medium to very high risk of reoffending.
The programme is cognitive behavioural based and designed to be responsive to individuals personal treatment needs in a group work format delivered on a rolling basis.
This means that any one time there are individuals at the start of the programme, the middle of the programme and at the end of the programme in the group together.
Once an individual has completed the work that they need to do they rollout of the programme and another person rolls in. A rolling format allows the individuals to only complete the modules that are relevant to their treatment plan which is decided by facilitators and treatment manager/supervisor once the behavioural analysis module is completed.
Participants can spend anything between 3-6 months on the programme depending on how many modules they are asked to complete.
